I’ve been trying OpenSUSE throughout the years, at least once or twice a year, and there was always some set of annoyances with it so I could never stay on it permanently.
This time, I have decided to give it my best shot and see if I can use OpenSUSE day to day, for at least a month, and document those annoyances (if any) properly, so when asked a question; “What do you hate about OpenSUSE so much?”, I either have proper response, or am still using it and enjoying. I’m hoping for the later.
So, you can call this my new year’s resolution, my promise/commitment or whatever :-)

2020-12-25 - 12:26As noted, I’ve been trying it on and off for years, and there was always something which threw me off the wagon. :-)
This time, I’ll force myself to use it for at least a month, and then we’ll see. Even if I don’t continue using it, I’ll at least have concrete examples of OpenSUSE shortcomings, how I solved them etc. Hopefully that can be useful to someone else embarking on this journey.
